What is the difference between camping and glampingCall it what you want - the difference we see at The Glamp is that the sort of traditional stoicism around camping that tends to exist, doesn't have to. Camping turns into glamping when being in nature is just as comfortable as being in a hotel, or airbnb. Simply add the benefits of the location being fully immersed in nature. We believe glamping takes over when style and function come together in a minimalist way. Less is definitely more at The Glamp, but we also believe that quality always wins.

What does "shop" and "book" the glamp mean - what's the difference"Shop" the glamp - means, shop our store like you would any other online site. "Book" the glamp, means book one of our fully fitted out glamp hotel locations. If you Shop "and" Book The Glamp - it might mean you stayed with us and loved the glamp experience so much so, that you had the set up [or parts of it] sent to your home to add to your own glamping set-up.
-

What brands do you work with or stockWe work with hard to get, hard to find, hard to source brands from all over the world. Most of our brands generally have a gentle connection back to Japan because, well, we love the way Japanese take on their glamping, camping and lifestyle with a.minimalist approach. We work with renowned Japanese outdoor legends, such as SnowPeak as well as other boutique "in country" producers of wines, axes, surfboards sake and knives.
-
Do you ship worldwideWe currently ship to Australia and NZ however that list is always expanding. Please refer to shipment costs and policies when you check out in our store.

Do you ever do "pop up" glamping hotel locationsThe short answer is we do. We are often popping up in beautiful locations. And sometimes that even includes skyscrapers in the middle of the city for something truly unique. So long as you regularly check the website and have signed up for our newsletter, you will always be the first to know where our glamp hotels are popping up.
-
Can we bring our own gear and just book a siteThe fast way to answer that is - no. We are not in the business of selling sites for your tents or your own glamping gear. We offer full service glamping hotel experiences with f+b offerings. You are welcome to bring any additional gear you wish to a full service booking but what we hope to offer you is the chance to simply pack a small weekend bag, and get away, like you would in a hotel. We believe being able to experience our set up's in person will definitely inspire your future glamping shopping list.
